>Alcohol and nightswimming! A winning combination!
Nobody would actually be this stupid, right?
>>

Sure people would. I'm reminded of the case where tourists in a ski resort town after a night of drinking removed the foam padding of a ski lift pole to use as a toboggan. They went back uphill, slid down -- and slammed right into the same pole that now did not have the foam padding anymore. Killed instantly through traumatic head injuries.

A swimming pool sure, but I can’t imagine having the urge to go into a natural body of water while drunk.
>>
>>217486635
Sonme people can drink and swim, some people don't. What is drunk?
>>
Swimming drunk at night is great, I recommend it. I never really do it any other way.
>>
Basically every college town in America that has a nearby body of water has at least one student drowning every year.

1st worlders generally all know how to swim so that's fine. Not being able to swim is a poor people thing.

My thoughts exactly.
>plants rubbing against your feet
>weird logs floating about
>insects
No thanks.

Swimming is a White thing, like mountain climbing. You wouldn't get it

Post timestamped pic of your empty liquor bottle on the shore or gtfo poser
>>
>>217487074
What shithole beaches have you been to? There should be almost no plants, logs or insects.
>>
>>217487555
By the ocean sure, but if you’re near a lake there’s bugs everywhere and I’ll never get the appeal. The only upside is that lakes don’t have anything that can eat you unless you’re in Florida.
>>
It only becomes a problem when you're drunk enough to think that swimming to that far-away island is a good idea.

Saaar...

recently some teens went drunk swimming after dark on a windy day and one drowned. by the time anyone living nearby clued in that drunken revelry had turned to horror, it was too late.
the kid hadn't eaten anything that day either so his corpse sank for a couple days

>>217486722
i love the feeling of summer lakewater on my fuzzy feeling drunk body. of course i'd never do it alone or out of rescue distance, though
>>
Is it true that if you dont panic you can just float on your back when tired so you should be relatively safe even if you are stuck pretty far out in the ocean?
>>
>>217487616
fair point
>>
>>217487693
i must have nigger bones because i sink like a rock. love to swim, never in danger of drowning, but a sustained float is total fantasy for me.
>>
>>217487721
Hm even in a pool without a wetsuit its easy to float indefinitly
I guess in the ocean with waves and chop its different as water will keep splashing in your mouth
>>
>>217487193
>If you don't like swimming in an brain eating amoeba filled pond at night you are brown
Fuck off retard
>>
>>217487693
You'll have to retain body tension for that, i.e. you need to stretch out as if you were a board. I guess that's kind of hard to keep up when the water is cold and your muscles cramp. Most people who fall overboard drown for a reason.

I must have ha
F nigger bones. I can back float with a lot of effort but I have been in pools sense I was 5 and can’t tread water.
Protip new parents, do NOT give your kid safety floaties, it ruins their natural ability to swim
>>
>>217487721
Muscle and bone are denser than water, but fat is less dense than water. If you have a lot of lean muscle and not much fat it will be hard to float.
>>217487761
Ok fatty

I got REALLY drunk one time and decided to see how far I could swim out in the ocean. Got so far out that the lights of that oceanfront skyscrapers had just become little dots on the horizon, when all of the sudden “something” so big and strong slammed into me it literally pushed me out of the water. I freaked the fuck out bc I was positive it was a huge shark and it took me almost an hour to swim back to shore.
>tldr: White men can swim, unless they’re goyslop chugging fatties, and even then, the chubbs can fucking float, lol
>>
>>217487761
even in a totally still pool i will sink. when i was young i had swim instructors marvel at how i could attempt to float with the exact form required, full lungs, etc. , and end up laying on the pool bottom if i let myself go that far down
>>
>>217487810
i'm also not that lean. my gut wants to float but it can't keep all of me up
>>
>>217487858
Here in Florida most kids take walk instruction and know how to swim before they turn 3
