Your sense of humor will greatly effect how you feel about this, if you find its sense of humor annoying it's going to be torture for you, because it starts with it right out the gate and never takes a breather til the end. This is the type of movie that has a giant kitten made of kittens with a horsecock that sprays confetti in it. To me it felt like Y2K but told in the style of John Dies At the End. In practice it's an anthology of what feels like rejected Black Mirror episode ideas. Complaints aside I enjoyed it, Sam Rockwell is always great and Haley Lu Richardson was well cast, and the relationship between them is effective and not what you'd expect. Zazie Beetz I'm glad is in it but is miscast, they could've used anybody for her character. Full spoilers coming in reply to this post.

The clone is emotionless and robotic and a stranger gives her a hard drive that contains a better simulation of her son that tells her to go to the diner and help Rockwell. Third flashback is a girl who is allergic to wi-fi, being around it gives her headaches and nosebleeds. She falls in love with a hippy type who only uses analog tech but someone mails him a VR headset connected to a perfect simulated reality and he becomes obsessed with it and leaves her to be in it. The group is told by Rockwell they just need to get a few blocks down the street to the basement if a nine year old kid who's about to invent true AI and stick a USB in his computer that will kill it. A bunch of people try to kill them on the way including the giant kitten, but they get in and the kid reveals that Rockwell is the allergic girl's son and they manage to kill the AI. But when they come out Rockwell realizes everything is too perfect and they didn't beat the AI and vaporizes himself to go back and try again. Movie ends with him coming back to the diner and telling his mom the USB plan would've never worked and they need to genetically infect everyone with the same wi-fi allergy she has as a semi-sequel hook.

Sleepaway Camp III was basically a repeat of II, the story is just "Angela kills people". But the kills were good and everyone gets their tits out.The intro was great, they should have just made it about vagrant Angela murdering homeless teens.
Just finished. Three guys go to a campsite, meet some Suicide Girls in slutty outfits, then the girls kill them and eat them naked while rubbing fake blood on each other. The point of this is the naked bloody girls and the shower scenes and everything else is worthless. Some dude training to become a warlock to find his missing gf should've been cut out of the movie. It's only an hour and was still 50% filler. The girls all have horror movie or Star Wars tattoos. Kudos to them for going full frontal so frequently, especially loved the climactic shot of them coming out of their cabin to meet the warlock fully nude with automatic weapons. Bad!

Return to Silent Hill was indeed great, unironically requires a high iq to understand and enjoy especially if you know the game. Marathoned it at the kinoplex last night and there was this young guy who went to see it with his parents and the mother was constantly complaining about not getting the story, I give her a pass, but that's about it.
Just finished. This one is a prequel, and borrows heavily from the Terminator movies with a plot about a body hopping killer spirit and a man from the past sent to protecr Misa. It's sad to think there aren't any more "real" Eko movies after this one since they change actress and director from here on out, these were really entertaining.

When I saw this show, I immediately thought of Silent Hill. I don't know if the show is directly lifting from the games, or just happy coincidence, but this format is exactly how a SH series should play out. From is a tv show about how people get trapped in this foggy quaint and unasuming American rural town and it harbors this terrible past and they can't get out. The town is filled with monsters, and they have to survive.
