I hate watched it. Just awful.

It's the most "idea-guy" show I think I have ever seen.
They don't really care how A gets to B so long as it does.
It will introduce a billion seemingly random threads, dutifully followup on them 4 episodes later, but never once actually sell you on any of it.
Everything is so poorly dramatized because they are more concerned with checking the box on a dozen ongoing plot points.
The single worst example of this being from this episode's with Macaulay Culkin becoming Caesar, it was such a truncated afterthought of a scene lacking in any sense of gravitas or threat or simple dramatic texture.

Pretty excited about Colorado, had a feeling they were pushing for a Van Buren arc with Vault 0 and the Enclave space station stuff, it is interesting that they are ignoring the FNV trannys favoritism and leaning more into the lore from FO 1, 2 and tactics. People can cry about the BoS all they want. Tactics was confirmed cannon with the events of 3 if you paid any attention and talked to people in the citadel. All of the plots feel like they should be over and resolved by now. Like we should be out of the talking stage or exposition dump stage with Mr. House, yet that’s exactly what they’re going to have to do at the start of next season, and what more can he even say that the audience doesn’t already know? Seriously watching Swords into Ploughshares shows me what a fucking missed opportunity this show is. Could have been way more fucking interesting. It's also wild how much better the pacing is as well, 10 episodes in and covered more than Fallout did in 2 seasons.
Something SitP does way better is build up a threat as well, The Legion should have been a serious, real threat every episode with legion spies and legion assassins hunting down the characters, the legion shown to be a serious fighting force, instead it's just some lame guys in a camp. In SitP shows also how awful life is in it's wasteland, cannibalism, rape, refugees in rags hobbling about, babies and children being impaled on spikes.
The Wasteland in Fallout barely even feels like a wasteland, they're just roaming around regular Nevada lmao.

The show rubber bands between these serious scenes and then these weird goofy violent comedy scenes, but they never mix, it is like oil and water, there's nothing to bond these scenes, so you get weird serious scenes for no reason only to watch someone shit blood puke in the next scene, to watch a cut to a different part of the story where the tone can't find out where the fuck it is gonna ricochet next. The main character frog girl is constantly doing things against her own interests. She wants to "save" her dad but then she just fucks everything up for no reason other than she seemingly has found more of a bond with surface dwellers for a week than all her time with her dad. Once his memory is wiped she just leaves him outside a casino with death claws walking around. It is beyond bizarre. Also, they're really gonna pin S3 on building the big robot again for the 3rd fucking time?

s2 is the realization that the showrunners are actually clueless and actively avoid tipping their hand about this, so they aggressively avoid contending with basic lore world building and enabling their wonky plot thru massive asspulls and contrivances. like why cant the protagonists just get to house in ep2? because house built a massive hidden vault for enclave underneath lucky 38 that somehow managed to stay a secret during the construction and filling so that they can have an endless supply of enclave manpower from thin air to fill the strip with deathclaws so it takes 8 episodes to discover this fact?
