We Bury the Dead was fucking ASSAs an Australian I wish I could recommend it, but at 90 minutes it somehow feels overlong. Tedious middling movie that won't satisfy either horror or drama fans. Some nice shots, and I suppose it might be the first zombie movie set in Tasmania?The premise is fun at least: US experimental weapon detonated off the coast of Tasmania inadvertently kills every living thing on the island. A movie about the political consequences of such a wild, silly event could have been entertaining.

Watched it and I would say it's a 5/10. Looks nice but the plot and themes don't come together in a satisfactory manner. I enjoyed the beginning, hated the middle and didn't really care for the ending. Daisy and the other actors do a good job.
