>>217772905Actually one of my earliest tests of ChatGPT was to play odd matchup games where I play as one fictional character and the AI plays the other.I'd have the AI figure out D&D style hitpoints and multipliers and shit based on known attributes of the characters, but keep it as freewheeling as possible so you could do basically anything you can imagine within the confines of their strength/superpowers/weapons, (like it knows Captain America can't spell cast a fireball or some shit, (and you lose a turn if you try to make such an attack), but it also knows his shield is indestructible so if Lara Croft shoots it with her pistols, it's gonna do dick).The AI is basically the DM and also the other player so makes objective judgements and calculations on the effectiveness of tactics and attacks, (though you can dispute/appeal them with logic after the fact).It actually works surprisingly well and is kinda fun, especially trying to beat a superior opponent with imaginative tactics. Haven't tried it for a while on the latest AI versions. Earlier versions would be a little sketchy with details, have trouble remembering point totals and whose turn it was due to a limited attention window, but it was actually pretty solid. Fun to play your favourite characters where you have intimate knowledge of their more unusual abilities, like Dr. Doom's Molecule Expander.The best part is it's not limited at all, so you can have Hulk Hogan fight Dr. Octopus or some shit if you want.A good game to play verbally on a headset to kill time if you're stuck waiting somewhere. You first have to instruct the AI to act as DM impartially and as the other character.
Been watching anime on Netflix and it's interesting how both old and new shows look great. While the 00s are basically stuck in 720p or whatever that is.
