This is how strongly narcissistic people view their surroundings. Their friends are enemies in disguise because they want them to open up to them. Their lovers are not theirs but belong to someone else (ex boyfriend, father, friends) so they must be punished etc. Then after almost realizing who they are they realize they just skip it entirely and play the victim instead. So now everything is someone else’s fault. Its a completely sick way of thinking but these people exist and ruin the life of everyone who cross them. There is no way out for some people, they never learn
