>>217776649yes we need to back to cable TV slop
>>217776649this shit glows
>streaming>social media>smartphones>2007-2008 writer's strikeAll of these things were a disaster for art and entertainment
>>217776649But you can watch streaming on your TV, idiot. Fucking idiot, TVs have had netflix for like 20 years now.
>>217776871Way to checkmate that mook.
Best era of TV was that late 00's/early 10's overlap between weekly broadcasts and TV shows having proper budgets. Breaking Bad, Mad Men, early Game of Thrones. There's no more sense of community. Everyone inhales a show the weekend it comes out and it's forgotten within a month until everyone re-binges before the next season comes out in 3 years.
Streaming didn't kill it unless you're lumping in tiktok / reels /yt shorts.I've found myself scrolling on my tv, and cant decide what to watch/ computing whether or not im going to invest the time into actually watching something.People are spending hours per day watching videos on their phone. TV gets a lot less use nowadays. Plus many of the shows like stranger things are overtly sticking 'gay shit' into the plot just to do it, and after seeing so many lesbian protagonists in new shows... something has to give. Not even joshing.. There was a time, it was when that Apple tv godzilla show came out. My kid loves godzilla, ordered apple so we could watch it. Not terrible.. but then they have to make the main character a lesbian, and force a gay relationship into the storyline. It just so happened we had just watched 'the legend of kora' .... lesbian. There was also another show in that tight window w\ another lesbian lead... Forcing these things into content is just cringe, and it pulls you out of the immersion of the show.
>DispatchThis is the future of entertainment. You can call it a game, or call it a TV show where you can choose the path or ending to take. Release it in weekly episodes.
>>217777287dispatch would be forgotten if it was released as a tv show.
>>217776649>8 episodes every 2 years instead of 26 episodes a year>said episodes are somehow even more repetitive because they need to be understood by people who aren't actually watchinggrim
>>217776649no , the fucking commercials did
>>217777317>dispatch would be forgotten if it was released as a tv show.Interactive TV show... And that is how Dispatch was released, in weekly episodes.... and it worked.
>>217777346how are commercials timed on a streaming show? does one play no matter what after a given interval, or do they wait for logical points in the episode like during the network TV era?
>>217776649Broadcast TV is still viable. It's just that the money people and hollywood types saw they could be low talent low effort debauched freaks on streaming and keep 90% of the money for themselves. So...they ran to streaming.>>217777226Oh yeah. There is a litteral plan in place to push LGBTQA and Pedophila through acceptance of lesbians. It's old as hell and was a well reguarded game plan created by harvard types. And when you look at the epstein files..well...this is litteally thier plan.
>>217777391ahhahh no of course not , they just force the commercial in at the worst possible time , normally mid sentence
>>217777391Was watching the latest terminal list, and amazon runs ads at interval w\ popups allowing you to purchase items w\ your remote since it's connected to your amazon account.Paramount is doing a mix of forced, unskippable adds 120s in some cases, along with split-screen ads at the end of a ufc match awaiting the judge score cards. Hard to complain about it because it's no longer ppv. And if you were streaming UFC from eu before, that had ads.
>>217776649Donald Trump killed it
Just two more weeks…
>>217777346Fun fact: Kars 4 Kids isn't a children's hospital or charity, it's a summer camp for Jewish kids.
