I feel like a lot of classic 19th and 20th century Americana cultural stories got left in the 20th century with things like Paul Bunyan, the Hatfield and McCoys and Johnny Applesneed being ubiquitous before 2000 but none of that seems relevant now. Like how many classic cartoons can you think of that were basically adaptations of American tall tales before 2000 vs today?

Because all that stuff smacks of white supremacy and must be eradicated, along with the Founding Fathers.

The people running the US propaganda department (Hollywood) hate the US and its culture.

John Henry Irons is black

All American Folklore is white-coded and therefore must be eradicated. Even the black ones like John Henry.

How is John Henry Irons white coded?

Railroads are a white-coded technology.

I remember as a kid Paul Bunyan and Johnny Appleseed being huge deals but haven't heard about them in years. Only real one you hear about is John Henry because automation bad, the fact people make picrel edits and to be cynical the fact he doesn't know how to change a smoke detector. I don't know if people just talk about it less or that my kid mind just hyper focused on it since it was school work that was fun.

Because the 2010s was pretty much a cultural revolution-tier chimpout against all that. Just like how China lost all it’s culture, so did America.

I'm pretty sure they don't even teach kids about them anymore because they want to eliminate American culture and replace it with immigrants and shit

The hate for America itself and its traditions/history is so deep with public education at this point. It's insane how much it accelerated after the 90's. They want to pretend like it's WW2, civil rights, and now, and everything prior was just evil.

This. I’m a zoomer who was educated in the 10s and pretty much all of my education was just anti white hate and shitting on all of American history. The only thing portrayed in a positive light was the civil rights movement and we had like an entire semester dedicated to that shit.
