The prequels suck.

1. No clear protagonist
2. Anakin is unlikable and his fall is poorly motivated
3. The romance between Anakin and Padme is unnatural and uncomfortable
4. Excessive boring exposition, actors look bored and disengaged
5. Overly convoluted and boring political plot
6. Anakin and Obi-Wan are barely friends
7. Stiff, unnatural dialogue
8. Too much green screen and over-reliance on CGI
9. Every scene is either people sitting in a room talking or walking and talking
10. The prequels fail at basic filmmaking
Poor character motivation. Weak storytelling. Bad dialogue. Flat visuals. There is zero reason to care about what's happening on screen.

Was Spielberg in the files too?

I love George but he not only sold Star Wars to Disney but also defended them and made Indiana Jones have an affair with Marion when she was like 12...

I don't think so. Hollywood is full of pedos and occultists and it's all ran by Jews who Mossad has no interest in politically compromising for the very obvious reason that they're also Jewish. I've also read quotes of Spielberg saying groomy shit to Drew Barrymore, and if I remember correctly, theres a rabbit hole concerning Carol Anne Freeling's death.

don't forget all the changes and "corrections" he made to the OT versions

Yeah except his stories are fucking terrible from an objective perspective. 0 nuance, 0 deep thought. Just "LE HECKIN GERMANY/AMERICA ALLEGORY IS EVIL BECAUSE THEY WANT TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD". It betrays his childish worldview.

Number one is irrelevant, you don't need a clear protagonist for a good story. The rest only really apply to AotC which was George Lucas' only genuine bad movie in the whole six. Reminder that Disney made it 3/3.

The prequels are very flawed movies but I never understood the criticism that they have bad or flat visuals. For all his faults as a writer, George Lucas understands how to compose a shot. Even scenes that dont have much in the way of special effects like the "I hate sand" scene are pretty well composed in terms of the visuals.

>No clear protagonist
How are you so dumb that you don't even realize that Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are both the protagonists? How is this even a real criticism?

only that last part is common in theatre, which is because the actors are confined to a fucking theater. The biggest benefit film bring is removing this limitation, especially if you film everything on a green screen and can make your actors traverse the known universe

Star Wars was a critique on Dune for pussying out on namedropping Juba II. So Star Wars parodied Dune's vagueness and dishonesty by more closely portraying Anakin of the Skywalkers (Juba II of the Massylii) to mirror reality better than what Dune did.
Specified;
George as an avid reader of Roman history sniffed out that Herbert had concocted a sloppy space-messiah story based on Juba II's family and lineage.
Noteworthy;
James Cameron did to Star Wars what The Matrix did to LOTR,- pulled it out of childish fantasy and turned it into a grown up horror story from a new POV.

Did you hear the one about his car crash
>>
>>217781120
Maul killed Qui-Gon because he was Plagueis.
Qui-gon is the father-figure that Caesar was to Juba II when he adopted him, whereas Plagueis was the "sith lord" he was accused of being when killed by the faction of Augustus/Palpatine.
>>217782142
Juba II has far and beyond been established as the pop-culture father of Jesus at this point. The seeming silence from the audience speaks volumes to how mad the priestly class has taken this obvious interpretation from the director class.
