There was already a Dredd thread today and it inspired me to watch this. I’m 1 hour 10 into it and I’m just wishing it was over as the pacing slows to a crawl for the daddy issues brother. I wish I lived in the timeline where Dredd got a sequel and this mediocre shit didn’t. And before we get any low IQ Dredd Ripped this off posts, Dredd started production before the Raid, but ended later due to the high quality editing, vs the gritty (cheap) shots of the Raid. I’m not blaming anyone, I’m just saying Dredd is the superior movie and literally cannot be a ripoff.

Dredd and the raid are different movies, Law enforcement entering an apartment complex are the only similarities I can see. They are trying to do different things.

People have pointed fingers at one stealing the other’s plot, but I guess they’re different enough it may have been a shitty coincidence.
