just finished it, it's a cool concept on paper, but it's one of those things where, the more you reveal about the exposition, the worse it gets, because this premise falls apart if you try to make sense of it, so you need to keep it vague and focus on the acting and creepy imagery to keep people who have never 'played' the game engaged, something for which markiplier was a terrible casting choice. this didn't need to be 2 hours long, it could have been a neat 15 minute short film as a homage to the game. also, the dialogue doesn't work, it's supposed to be the distant future but the characters talk as if they were people yelling at a mcdonalds because they got their order wrong.

>>217782799Not necessarily, special effects tend to look bad mostly because of constant changes in the production, due to getting bad test screening results, so the crews don't have enough time to polish the visuals. For something like this, that was only a couple of seconds, I picture markiplier already had it in mind way before doing the rest of the movie, so his crew had more time to make it look good.
Just saw it on camrip and it was way too dark so i might rewatch it in theatre. It was good and you can tell there was passion put into it even though the longer the movie went, the more questions that weren't being awnswered.
This movie was a solid 4.5/10.
As far as Youtuber Movies go, this is up there on the top tier.Which honestly is quite a low bar, but hey its something, liked it more than i expected and this last month was jam packed with horror movies.
