I remember when this came out, everyone was talking about how it was the funniest shit ever made and I felt like I took a crazy pill because it was dull as fuck
Now that the dust has settled, I was proven right. no one gives a fuck about this trash

What type of comedy movie is this? There was a bunch in the early 2010s where everything is crazy and outrageous, same kind of humor, they all started after The Hangover

I really don't wanna be that guy, but you've been posting this over and over (very common here).
Do you interact with people offline at all? I don't think I have a guy friend who doesn't like this movie or if we were hanging out refuse it as a suggestion.

I was in 9th grade and my friends all stayed the night over at my house. One of them got the dvd for this in late 2009. It was like 5 of us and we all ate some pizza while watching this. Maybe it’s because i was like 14 but I thought it was the funniest shit ever. We played some COD and Halo after that.

That was the era when they overhyped every overrated mainstream comedy movie (hangover, Superbad, I love you man, etc.). Now, since the mid 2010s, they’ve shifted to overhyping the shitty horror movies. 40 year old virgin really was the last solid mainstream comedy movie if I can remember correctly

This movie is the only reason Mike Tyson didn't end up broke and irrelevant like most other boxers

Did anyone ever watch 2 or 3? Were they good? They couldn't have been good, right?

I've been on /tv/ for a decade and a half and I can count with my hands how many times Hangover was mentioned here

The second was just "remember the first movie?" I assume 3 was the same.

Superbad was good and I'd argue The Other Guys was the last great comedy
>>

it was the first time the world saw Zack Galafinakas.
Pretty big deal.

I remember not hating 1 but 2 was one of the worst movies I'd ever seen, pure callback slop
>>
>>217780926
michael cera carried that lame movie and the other guys only had a funny concept but mid execution

I actually remember seeing a few of his stand-up shows on Comedy Central before the Hangover came out, and being vaguely amused that he'd managed to actually make it when the movie premiered. I seem to recall him being tolerable at the time (for a fat kike).

I actually saw Galifiniakis do live musical comedy at Sasquatch music festival, literal weeks before The Hangover came out. I can promise you that nobody in the audience knew there was a movie star performing in front of us. He was great, don't get me wrong. But it was a comedy routine in a tent...

It was incredible how quickly he blew up.
