This is technically correct, Samurai didn't refer specifically to the cool warriors, it was a social caste like the nobility in Europe. All knights were nobles, and all of the cool samurai warrior guys were part of the samurai caste that contained both men and women. However, they know damn well that when people talk about samurai they're talking specifically about the cool warrior guys doing cool warrior stuff, just like how when when people talk about cowboys they're talking about all western frontiersmen instead of just cattle herders.
