>seeing LOTR: TT again on a whim
>someone else selected my usual dead-center seat so I select a seat two to the left
>get there and it is once again a pretty woman seeing it alone
>she laughs at all of the same parts I laugh at, after I do
>4 hours later, credits are rolling, muster up the courage to strike up conversation
>"Have you seen this in the theater before?"
>she replies that she's seen it on TV in slightly garbled English with what seems like a thick French Canadian accent
>"Oh, me too. I saw the first one in theaters as a kid and I really loved it, but this is the first time I've seen this one in theaters."
>she says something back in broken English about how she likes the music (the speakers were cranked up to 11 in this auditorium for some reason, my ears still hurt)
>"Yeah, and I think the extended scenes really add a lot to this one."
>she agrees, mumbles something enthusiastically but I can't understand her, pauses, and then repeats that she likes the music
>"Same, and Into the West at the end of ROTK is my favorite track. Are you seeing ROTK?"
>she says yes probably tomorrow
>"Oh, ok--"
>she then asks if it's playing this weekend and says she's seeing it this weekend since she likes to space it out instead of seeing them back to back

>she echoes my statement and asks again about the coming weekend, I get confused because of her accent and the repetition, answer her again that I'm not sure
>slightly awkward pause and she says "okay!" and gets up and turns to leave
>I say "okay, have a nice night" as she walks off
Did she want me to ask her out, or did I trap this poor woman into a conversation she didn't want to have? Also, someone needs to beat Peter Jackson within an inch of his life. Your favorite characters are le Reddit trees? WHO CARES, DUDE?
