I mean, the big reveal is that there is a secret group of evil elite guys doing all kinds of crazy shit. They do eugenics, mutilate innocent people, experiment with them, mind control. They secretly rule the world. They're so selfish, so self absorbed in their own vision that they are willing to cause the fall of civilization.
