I started watching it because I was in the mood for some assassinkino but even those parts are pretty dumb.

I'm not normally a skipper but the family stuff with both the black chick and jackal is so shit I started doing that. Speaking of black chick it's painfully obvious that they wanted to/were told to make her seem smart but they couldn't do that in any competent way so instead it's just retarded shit like a whole room of glowies needing to be told that the guy who made this one-of-a-kind gun would probably know who he sold it to, or her norwood subordinate not understanding why she wants to know if they recovered the body of a military guy that died when they're trying to find a military sniper that was capable of the making the shot.

Really the only part of it I actually like is Redmayne's performance.

i thought i would do my usual thing of just skipping past the black ladies scenes coz SANE editors know people do that and either front load the uninteresting actor or give them their own episode.
in this show however it's basically interweaved scenes - 5 mins of redmayne 5 mins of baboon. impossible to skip her scenes even when she's doing something as banal as talking to her baboon daughter.
if this show had an editor who was aware of how people watch shows it would've been more popular.
i didn't even reach the gay scenes but i'm not surprised they put that in there - redmayne is constantly pouting at the camera like he's in a vogue commercial not a tv show about a conflicted assassin...
