Had to be the shortest lasting drug I've ever seen at the end. They went from going wild to be being completely sober within minutes, funny how that works. Also a pity that the last two fingers to go, apparently very selectively chosen by our fearsome leader to be death machines, were killed off right away. Can't even remember their faces or names, they were just there.

Good movie though. It just had enough flaws when you start thinking.

the reasons seem to have been:
1) they thought ATJ would be the main character and simply didn't understand what was happening when he disappeared from the movie, like it was playing a trick on them that the movie was "suddenly" about Spike and his family dynamic instead of an Action Chad.
2) they thought that there would be more action. maybe the emphasis on the fortified holy island setting made them think the climax of the film would be it being attacked be zombies. the trailer doesn't actually promise anything and represents the movie accurately so it seems to have been almost complete projection.
