They demonstrate early on she was in a legit abusive relationship and had shitty self esteem but still had delusions of grandeur along with the rest of the acting troupe. Her first project is authentic but then she immediately sells out and begins embracing being a shitty soulless wretch for more fame and attention. It’s like Barry spiraling out killing people more and more casually as she also sinks lower and lower. Great stuff but anyone actually praising her character as somehow positive is a retard or instigator.

Barry S1 is one of my favorite seasons of tv of all time but it got progressively worse, I didn't even finish S3. I think Hader is a competent actor but he got too cocky. I did see the scene where Jim "Kinoman" Cummings plays him in the movie and I liked that, good tip of the hat to the Indie King.

I watched season 1 recently and while I thought it was good it is possibly the most hard to watch thing I've ever seen. Every scene of him at the acting class is painful to sit through because of how spergy he is.
