My doctor did the same thing. Got colon cancer. Did one attempt at chemo but it failed. Rather than going through more treatments he just let himself die. It's much more common than you'd think anming doctors with cancer and makes you think.

I once watched an episode of house with my dad who is a psychiatrist and he deduced the real disease in like 10 minutes Its funny because the only psychiatrist in the series is absolutely worthless at diagnosing and its implied to be in part because they dont treat normal patients and lose touch
