I visit Montana every year and it's like 75% huge flat wasteland with Indian reservations that give new meaning to the word poverty, 20% mining towns with insane meth people with a poisoned water supply and 5% indescribable beauty that no one other than the insanely rich can afford to be around.I feel like this show slightly misrepresents the area. The biggest issue I had with it was how the first season sets it up as an industrial sized ranch (ie: get the chopper)Then COVID hit ruined their filming so it's written that actually these dozen guys can handle it all on horse & with trucks. Even after that they slowly reduce the size of the ranch further when they start hammering that the importance is because it's been family owned for so long. Every time they shifted the dynamic of the ranch it forced them to add, and go down these awful plots points in an attempt at exposition
