>>217800268For me is Outland (1981).
>>217800348underrated movie tbf

>>217800348For me zardoz and sir billi
>>217801779elaborate right now

>>217800268The gherka went out like a champ

>>217802921>streaming site
>>217802921Watched it for the first time on Tubi. What got cut out?
>>217802921Yo... little Donnie...
>>217802921I'm afraid to watch it because I enjoyed the book so much
>>217802921The first part of this movie is so very good. Once they go into the labyrinth it drops off.
>Your plansch for world domination are over Missch Moneypenny. By the way, do ye fanchy a schag?I walked out the cinematron instantly. A porridge wog as old Blighty's most famous secret agent? Papa would be spinning in his grave.
>>217800268Zardoz.
>>217804642The sex scene with Valentina Vargas' tits was cut out in some versions. I can't sanction that
>>217800268More like Zest Connery
>>217804741It absolutely butchers the book. Everything happens way too fast, there's no beauty or magic to the library and it turns the random slut into the "rose".
>>217800268I was deciding between watching this or Safe House with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds a couple hours ago. I went with Safe House and turned if off halfway through.
based Connery thread
DEATH!!!
>>217806117Do you think she got an old fashioned SCHLAP?
I watched Robin Hood Prince of Thieves with my pops and Sean C. made a cameo at the end that made my Dad literally jump out of his seat. As we were walking out I asked, "Who was that old dude?".And he was so disgusted with me. "Sean Connery. James Bond." And I was like, "Roger Moore?". I'll never forget that. Anyway, I'm now a huge fan and wondered how in the fuck did I ever learn to love Sean Connery. Wasn't from Robin Hood. Entrapment? No. First Knight? No. And then it hit me! He's Indiana Jones' Dad. And The Rock is one of my favorite Nic Cage joints.
Sean Connery once disarmed former Marine and mafia bodyguard Johnny Stompanato when the latter threatened him with a gun on a Hertfordshire movie set. Johnny was deported back to the US, where he was later stabbed to death by his girlfriend’s (Lana Turner) fourteen-year-old daughter. It was ruled justifiable homicide. So yeah Connery is pretty based.
>>217800268>Michael Caine's wife plays Sean Connery's love interest in this movietruly best of friends. Would you ever have this much trust in another man?
>>217807000Johnny was a character in the LA Noire videogame as well as in the LA Confidential movie.
>>217807000Not surprised, mafia have always been phony tough guys
>>217802921I just watched this last weekend and it's pure kino.I'm also playing Pentiment at the moment.I need more of this type of kino!
The Hunt For Red October is a great film and should not be ignored in your Connery kino voyage. Imagine making a movie now that gives respect to Russia
>>217807210check out the Cadfael series
>>217802921>sean connery>ron perlman as some shit eating goblin>then my nigga f murray abraham shows up and cemented this as a certifiable KINO>also titsyup, this one is a banger
>>217807279Watching the first ep now.
i just watched Kevin Costner Robin Hood and he fucking comes out at the end as the King of England and i just burst out laughing and remembering seeing this exact thing on /tv/ months ago but i'd forgotten it until i saw his face and his accent. like what the fuck..was that a friendly gesture or something by him because he and Kevin Costner filmed the untouchables together?
>>217806920>>217807894It was a favor to either the director or producer as I recall. Just a cameo anyway.
>>217800268yes
>>217804730>yo, lil donnie... check em
>>217801779>the video game battlevideo games were such a craze then
>>217800268quite possibly the most handsome man, not saying definitively, but this man aged so well, im not sure there wasnt a generation of women that didnt find him a stud. He wouldve been a fine Gandolph too, do we blame that gentlemen film or did he just think fantasy for fags (hed be right)
He has uttered the best "Shut up" in cinema historyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR5kw8S9l0k
>>217808346I dress like that
>>217800268I liked it.
>Here comes that 9th century BC Egyptian gentlemen
>>217809863juan sanchez villalobos ramirez is SO BASED
>>217807894>Here's that 35 year old Occitan speaking French king of England
>>217809620Connery was unique in that he aged naturally; but managed to be good looking at every age. From his 20s all the way up to his 80s he looked great for his age and he only looked like a really old man for a few years before he shoved off.
Such as shame his last role was Sir Billi
>>217800268
>>217800348Definitely at least kino-adjacent. https://youtu.be/z8Ym0YrCv5w
>>217800348FPBP
>>217809960Not really. Guy ended his career on a shitpost and also as a favor to friends. Kino exit
>>217809960Would
>>217809751>He rejected the role of Gandalph for THIS.
>>217802921I really want to love this movie, but it seems like it would've done better as a pure medieval mystery thriller instead of tacking a romance subplot onto it. Yes I'm aware it's thematically significant, but I feel it kills the momentum of the rest of the film.
