I'm in the middle of the 3rd season and this shit is getting awful. I enjoyed the first season and the second was alright but now it's just weird melodrama and people walking in and out of rooms saying the most overdramatic shit. Will it get better or should I just drop it?

Drop it. At the end of the third season, could have been the fourth, they have a scene with Mike and Harvey where Mike jokes about how shit they have gotten. Pokes fun at how their relationship changed since they first met/he got hired. But yeah it's all downhill from where you're at
