What are the biggest plot holes and unexplained plot points you've seen in a movie.
>>
was it the baby t-rex that did that or was it supposed to be velociraptors or something and they wrote it out? Yeah it made no sense, why wouldn't the crew just stop the ship and hide in the crew compartment or something and lock all the hatches

In True Lies how does the car salesman know real details of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Roseanne's husband's spy escapades?

what happens to good 1985 Marty when he goes back to 1955 considering he wouldn't exist without original 1985 Marty to alter history and make him exist
>>

it was the trex when it woke up since they dont know how to properly keep it sedated. on route it had broken out of his restraints and maybe the door was open or maybe it pushed through. it killed everyone on the ship just as the last survivor closed the doors as he bled out. in regards to the hand, the rex grabbed the entire guy who tried to hold on and tore him off at the hand.

Nah the main plothole in BTTF is number 2 when BIFF takes the deloreon. He should have never returned because that future doesnt exist anymore.

Multiverse theory.

Changes aren't instant and unfold around people who are displaced.
>>
>>217805813
Biff comes out of the delorean already feeling the effects of being erased from existence

How would a T-Rex maneuver in the confines of a ship? They're cramped spaces with barely more headroom than necessary and small hatchways separating compartments that can be sealed off with heavy doors. Everything is made of steel. I don't see how the crew couldn't have withdrawn to the interior spaces and been safe - technically the ship can be piloted from the engine room anyway, so they could just group up there, stop the boat, and signal for help at sea.

How does Sean Penn look exactly the same when the plot advances like 18 years in OBAA?
>>
Whenthe Joker's victims in Batman '89 die with a huge grin on their face, much like the one that Jack sports in the movie. HOWEVER, Joker's grin was caused by botched plastic surgery, not exposure to chemicals.

He guessed based on reading about the shit they did in the newspaper. I don't remember the exact details but the story in the paper was a cover for the spys and the salesman took the credit, making up his own version of events that would explain him being a spy of some sort.

Its supposed to be velociraptors based on a scene from the first book, they probly just didnt feel like filming it, movie was a cash grab after all

BTTF1 shows that changes can take time to happen

Doc sends him to his death, then the original main character Marty comes in and carries on his life. They're both sick.

In the Friends finale, Rachel leaves for the airport a matter of seconds before Ross and Pheobe go to chase her. They could have just chased her down the stairs. Instead they drive half hour in the wrong direction without even phoning her to check which airport it is.

BTTF rules are different from Terminator rules. They create branching timelines like in Loki.
>>
How do people on a planet of water have leather and cotton and dyes to make clothes?
>>
>>
>>217809078
They make leather from sharks and other sea animals. They salvage a lot of stuff form the bottom of the ocean. They have plants, but they're very rare and valuable. A lot of stuff you see in the movie has been salvaged and repurposed over and over for hundreds of years.
>>
>>217809078
These things would be either derived by plants, or found sealed from the old world. Discarded materials shouldnt be too difficult to find, just tedious.
>>
>>217809078
All of these clothes obviously seem to be made out of the scraps of other clothes.

It's not that unbelievable that a drastically reduced post-apocalypse population could manage by scavenging for a couple centuries before they need to worry about producing stuff on their own (aside from food of course).

What IS the deal with airline food?
>>
>>217809078
This movie had such a great world setting but the story was retarded. I built a really cool ocean base in fallout based on it though.
>>
>>217805863
>>217809034
Wrong. Theres only one timeline in BTTF that gets "updated".

He did age. That's why his shirt no longer fit and was too tight

This is explained if you're a History buff and knoe anything about U-boats. Germany was not at war when the events take place and it travels faster when not submerged.
The short answer is that the sub didn't submerge to travel to its destination.
