Why are they casting a new Bond anyway? I thought we already got our new 007?
>>
Sadly, America hasn't matured and grown up enough for that
>>
Unironically, the biggest challenge of a Bond movie right now is getting people to believe a glowwie working for the British deep-state is one of the good guys.
How the fuck are they actually going to pull that off?

The whole franchise makes no sense.
I mean its so cute that bongs really think that they can uniornically act like a world police and that anyone takes them seriously kek.
But everyone knows that a real Bond-like figure will obviously be an american glowie, and they have the nerve to seethe when american actor is suggested to play him, I dont get it ?

it's not that British agents aren't out there doing stuff. It's just that they also all knew about EVERYTHING.

Doing what? Inspecting the local kebab shop? Bongs are not an important world player, its pathetic

Turns out they're not looking to make a wokeflop.
>>
as long as Denis Villeneuve is in charge, Bond movies will continue to be drab and unappealing
if they can figure out how to shoot a movie with today's technology and make it look like a John Glen Bond movie, maybe the franchise has a future

>Why are they casting a new Bond anyway?
Because Bond casting rumors is the single most successful clickbait article in the history of the interweb and they'll never stop milking it

Then you're an idiot.
She was only the "new 007" because Bond quits the agency (for like, the third time across 5 movies) and his replacement gets the now-unused number. She outright states in the movie she's giving it back to him when he returns to action.

There aren't going to be any more good Bond movies as long as the Academy has the DEI requirements in them. Honestly it was the coffin nail for the already dying film industry.

that was an undercurrent in the original books, the empire was in decline
