I watch most TV shows at 1.5x speed and find them much more engaging that way.
>>217807162Me too and movies too but I also skip (with hotkey) through boring scenes like someone walking for 5min just so they can get some time wasting shot/angle.
>>217807162I watched Breaking Bad at 2x speedI seriously cannot comprehend people ever watching it at normal speed. Shit was slow af
>>217807162>>217807413>>217807516Zoomers are and have been so hopelessly fried by hectic amounts of flashing lights and colors and overstimulation in their formative years, it blows my fucking mind. Holy shit
>>217807548ngl unc be speaking some truth there
>>217807162So do I (with subtitles), and have been for ten years, and I'm actually ashamed of it and don't tell anyone
>>217807548Bro, I'm 45 and it's insane how much time I wasted before faster speeds and skipping through podcasts/audiobooks, YouTube videos, movies/series. Fuck muh director's vision, if it's boring as fuck, I doesn't deserve my time!
>>21780716237 and been doing this with movies since high school. Especially dialog heavy scenes in action movies. Throw on subtitles and fast forward through them. Time is finite on this earth. Do what you want to.

OP here, let me explainThe UK House of Cards is 10.5hrsThe American House of Cards, aka Hose of cards, is 65hrs to tell the same story, even with the last season being borderline canceled. American TV is dragged out and full of filler, almost always is. also, subtitles are always on
>>217807758It's very frustrating actually. My voice makes me sound intellectually disabled. I prefer to work overseas because the language barrier covers up my autsim voice, and my autistic behaviour is perfectly acceptable outside the west.Under my twitching, poor social skills, and literalism, i am an actual person, and people don't treat me like one when they find out i have autism. Level 1 autism is called "mild" autism because it's mild for you, not for me. Autism is one of the most openly hated disabilities, with 1/10 people admitting they would lie to get an autistic person fired, and 1/5 admitting they would refuse to work for an autistic boss or supervisor. People assume we are intellectually disabled, and find it offensive to suggest we are equal or better than them in any way.
