It’s a strange movie. The guy who made Nightcrawler basically had a pass to make any film he wanted and he blew it on this. Denzel gives a performance that is good and completely different from any other Denzel movie because he’s kind of a dork and you believe it. The other thing is the story is like two different scripts collided because the second half felt completely off from what was going on.

it has a good setup, and the performancs are good, but the plot doesn't know what to do with itself and it ends up as a big nothing
