>>217810788realistically, what would’ve stopped the poor from restoring the earth to being habitable if they were left behind? all wall e did was cube and stack the trash. and all the humans needed to go back was one plant sample. plants are pretty adaptable and can grow in pretty harsh places given that they also receive water and nutrients. it seemed like b&l took the nuclear option before the planet became 100% inhospitable.
