Is it true this scene has its own fanbase?

some language autist on reddit rendered it as:

>"EK TĒ STROENG GE Ē DESĒR XHAKHING GRÛL KLAXHKSĒDA EK SE DRAÛSDĒLACHT SE BARÛN VLADIM HARKÛYEN"
but I don't think there are any official scripts of it you can find

Dennis was generally a coward, creatively speaking, when it came to Dunc. Overall, the film was bland and forgettable. But the two sequences where he actually took a creative risk, the Sardaukar homeworld and the Harkonnen arena, are striking and memorable and generally praised by all. There's a lesson there.

(And no, casting a negro woman as Liet Kynes, and that DOG of a woman, Zendaya as Chani are not "creative risks"; they are studio-enforced blunders which Dennis was too cowardly to resist)

I don't like how cartoonishly evil the Harkonens are.
>le kill servants for fun
>le kill anyone who fails even slightly
Regimes that retarded get overthrown very quickly. When any minor setback is met with immediate execution, everybody has nothing left to lose. It's the dumbest way to show how evil someone is.

Chani was a fucking joke. In the books she's Paul's most devoted follower, loyal to a fuckin' fault. Even the SyFy miniseries could get it right. Zendaya was just a tired girlboss trope mixed with a Redditor's fedora.

Yeah, that was very silly. The Harkonnens in the book are more cunning and underhanded than brutal; basically, everyone is addicted to something, and that's how loyalty is ensured. It's like having an army full of junkies.

Jem'Hadar and Ketracel-white. It's simple, believeable, and doesn't rely on gradeschool writing.

Chani is pretty one dimensional in the books, but they didn't have to make her do a 180 in the movies
