>>217813133nobody is a good guy in the movie. teddy has leonard kill the drug dealer so he can take his stash/money which is why he kept trying to get to the car. leonard makes the split decision to kill teddy because he didn't want teddy to ruin his only goal in life and leave him purposeless. but the license plate tattoo is going to fuck him by making him constantly investigate the same thing over and over again. not that it matters because he killed a cop and is driving around in a drug dealer's car full of drugs/money and is going to just end up in prison or a mental asylum.
