The show peaked in S3
Probably, though I think season 2 is up there with it. I like every season of the show, even seasons 6 and 7, but the serialized plots and character drama started taking over the how more than I would have liked, and the balance of the characters started to get thrown off to accommodate it. I love the pulpy B-movie flavor of the first few seasons, and the characters hadn't become unwieldy. Spike is emblematic of where the show went wrong.
More and more I'm convinced that Cordy should have stayed on Buffy. She could have just been Anya but not shitty.

Wish they did more with Faith, would have much preferred her to Spike S4 was just dumb with the whole underground base and Anya

Villain is also the best by far. Still mad Faith didn't get a spin off or anything because of Dushku being such an arrogantbitch (tbf that's why the character works)
