Romances were about somewhat attractive women wifeing a millionaire by chance.Nowadays even plain janes think that getting a billionaire is below them so a romance would suffer from expectation inflation and would require some kind of extraterrestrial entity with a galactic net worth (as in owning a galaxy) and at that point the writers would be writting scifi or capeshit so they rather write for marvel because it pays better.

Unfortunately still ended up being rich guy nonsense but women are sexually attracted to power and money so there really isn't anything you can do about that. Overall it was good. Felt a little rushed at times but it holds up.I still think When Harry Met Sally is the greatest romance movie ever made. Nothing really compares.
