Nothing to do with the "blood of battle is thicker than water of the womb" race stuff it just annoys me when it's scene after scene of self contained motivation for later.

I had already watched major league before it so I already loved Charlie Sheen so the whole movie I just really wanted Sheens character to live.Platoon is based it gives you a squad of characters you can love, hate, root for and wish death upon and it just never holds back, there's so many genuinely likeable and flawed likeable characters that make it so far into the movie and so many die along the way and in the final battle.Shoutout to Bunny.
