I was watching Pan's Labyrinth when it occurred to me...how do directors even make movies in another language? doesn't it make it hard to keep track of everything? what if the translators on set fuck something up?

Guillermo del Toro is Mexican, the movie was based in 1920s or 40s spain, are you fucking retarded? Also the screenplay can be translated and possible a transliteration takes place, thats why you get shit like Snowpiercer or even fucking Kojima directing actors and crew that speak different languages

Yeah, it's a mystery, as for me, I don't understand how they managed to keep the pale man on set without him just starting to eat people, I can only assume they had a massive cage of stray fairys to keep him placated, either that or they must have shot that whole sequence in a half day
