When did you get rid of your DVD collection and start doing the superior alternative by pirating kino onto a physical hard drive?

I just gradually got rid of things that mattered to me as I got married and had more and more kids. My VHSes and my DVDs. All my old consoles, from the NES down through the PS3. Warhammer figures, Magic the Gathering cards, D&D books, just... never had the time and they were gathering dust.I feel melancholy about it sometimes, but you kind of stop living for your own fulfillment and start living for your family after a bit.
