If so, what did you do and how did it pan out?

Bonus points if you’ve met anyone famous

I worked in digital video software and hardware connected to a couple of much loved blockbusters that wree groundbreaking in that regard. It was shit desu. Digital video was full of retarded morons on the fringe of tech obsessed with crappy editing suites that could look like the old shit they used with tape. I told them that youtube would eventually stream HD and they should work on providing servers for it instead of broadcast as IP streamed video was the future not analogue broadcast and I got laughed at. They were actual retards

Same fag, I've met plenty of famous people but not from working in movies. None of them made much of an impression on me except on aging rockstar who smashed up the bar we were drinking in with great style. I agree with Hitckcock, actors are cattle. We are now in a post movie/kardashian/beckham star world and that's good.

Semi retired/unemployed because I don't like people or the workplace. I worked in tech for 30 years in a bunch of sectors as well as pure tech itself.

Living the dream, my man

Pretty much anon, I'm lucky in that I love my hobbies to be honest I've put more money away and got a much niver life and things purely because I finally had time. I don't like the direction tech has taken either towards datacentres and away from end user computing power and storage in the last decade either. It is dystopia in gestation and the talent and genius you might meet in tech is long gone it's filled with bullshitters and retards and grifters now. Golden era was 1994-2005.

>Just record a found footage horror movie on your iphone

That would be a bad choice, considering you could achieve that with literally anything else and produce better results
