I think it was fine the way they left it when Miura died with Griffith crying and making eye contact with Guts. I don't like the new art style or the way the new guy writes it is annoying. I haven't bothered to read more than like a couple chapters post-Miura though
By the far the weirdest thing about Berserk is how meticulously detailed all of the armour because of how utterly fucking useless it is in the story.I mean look at this. Pic related gets regularly massacred by arrows that go straight through their breastplates. I don't even know why the manga makes such a big deal about Guts cleaving fully armoured men apart when the armour in Berserk offers less protection than cardboard.

>>217826575The majority of long running comic book storylines would be incomprehensible as a movie adaptation. Just look at Batman. We have yet to see any story arc from the last 20+ years adapted into live action. They just keep going back to the same handful of old ones.
