The fact that no filmmakers/directors haven’t continued Sigourney’s story with Ellen Ripley is confusing and makes me wonder why no director wanted to push the story with Ripley 8 (the clone) and explore new avenues with the xenomorph?

Neill Bomkamp had an original and exciting premise involving an older Ripley and Hicks, Why did that die off?

IMO it would be a nice send off to conclude Sigourney’s story with Ripley while she’s still around, alive and well.
