star trek sex with shran
>>217833681The Federation has many good looking women.High Elf and Night Elf women are very good looking. Wood Elf women are also very pretty. Dwarves are the fugliest of the federation races.
If Paramount wants a CW/Netflix/young audience, they should make series where the ship’s crew consists of aliens like Vulcans and Andorians, along with other good-looking peoples. Cast young, attractive actors who will portray wise and intelligent aliens that look deceptively young.
how bad do you need to be at economics to have hovering hospital ships but not enough medicine to treat everyone?
Also, add Caitians because people love cats. Avatar earned bazilions from that, and Bynars because they are fun
>>217833673I know a lot of Trekkies love Twin Peaks but I could never get into the show. Maybe it’s because all the characters were unsympathetic so I never cared what happened to them. I’ll watch the show to completion eventually.
>>217833728This. CW got 7 seasons out of Riverdale by casting hot people and often putting them in sexy outfits
>>217833728They should have just gone with the original Final Frontier concept with Omega minefields instead of the gay burn.
>>217833728the young audience has a 90 second attention span. they need a format revolution. chop episodes into 1-2 minute pieces and release them throughout the week.
>>217833755Lynch isn't for you. Just move on.
>>217833755>I’ll watch the show to completion eventually.Once the original mystery/murder gets solved it goes downhill. So really only need to watch the first season and a half. The 2nd season and the reboot season end of unresolved cliffhangers that will now never be concluded due to Lynch dying.
>>217833755You don't sympathise with poor Leland Palmer? He lost his daughter.
>>217833787The Lynch dune was kino thoughbeitly.
>Captain Kirk died alone with no living family memberswtf. people talk about what they did to star wars but trek did kirk dirty
>>217833843what happened to his nephew?
>>217833755>all the characters were unsympathetic I mean idk how you could say that about the core group i.e Coop, the sheriff, etcI don't see how you can't root for them
doctor gave me a pill and i grew a new kidney
>>217833843Bill Shatner is still alive. But, he won't live forever. And there has been seven NuTrek shows produced. But not one of them has given him a respectful commemorative 'sode. Tragedy.
>>217833788Season 3 is the only good legacy show revival to ever be made and I can and will die on this hill.
>>217833802>>217833862I liked Leland and Dale Cooper, but every one else was either in an affair or doing something deeply immoral. Even Laura was the town bicycle. I only watched the first season but I’ll finish it eventually. Because I see how impactful the show was across pop culture.
>>217833921its doesn't matter he made his own and its far better then anything nu-trek shit could've come up with
>Old busted and broke: Jamaican Blue Mountain in a Chemex>New, trusted and woke: Yirgacheffe in an Æropress>Sacre Bleu, lusted and bespoke: Yemeni qishr with cinnamon and ginger in a hario syphon
>>217833929uh the sherrif, the agents in general, I'm not going to post it this is /trek/ not /lynch/ but if you haven't seen the gandhi scene or the "I had a vision" scene then idk what to tell you, not for you I guess thats ok, its not for everyone
ham, biscuits, and scrambled eggs with TNG this morning
>>217833929That's the fun of it. They're all soap opera characters
>>217833950Coffee is too expensive now for me to be experimenting and fucking around with it. Unlike the Ellisons I am not made of money and can't just fuck around with expensive and beloved shit on a whim.
>>217833865They changed the timeline. That woman shouldn't have lived as long as she did.
>>217833921Correct me if I’m wrong, but Sulu never made any appearances in newer Star Trek stuff, right? Seems like he might be more willing to be in a show than Shatner.
>>217834041I think he was in Lower Decks, but I don't know because I only watch good sci-fi cartoons.I will watch the first episode of Lower Decks if anybody here agrees to watch the first episode of 0079 swear to God.
>>217834041You'd think they'd want him. He fits NuTrek style demographics. Maybe Kurtzman et al. are scared that all the shit he used to do on Howard Stern will resurface just when he guest stars?
>>217834041he did the voice work in the lower drecks ep after shatner rejected them. and they were bitter about it. it was very lame.
Is this really that bad? I dont get the hate.
Do you guys have a good resource for TNG material that wasn't show directly? Behind the scenes stuff, promo pics, bloopers etc. I find that stuff highly interesting.
>>217834130no, its very good
>>217834130its a mess, shatner even said it was a mess, studio interference rewritten scripts on the spot shots set up and then dropped because things weren't set up right and so on, good on him for pulling together a reasonably cohesive story, but it was a big mess, still love it.
>>217834164in the show*
>>217834164The Blu-Rays and TNG Compendium are great.
>>217834130Nerds loved to hate the movies because back then we had it so good. It was basically nitpicking compared to what we've have to deal with now.
>>217834069Y'know what, I'll take that bet. Been wanting to try gundam for a while anyway.
>>217834164>https://youtu.be/vCWkFtKYxuA?si=7z1U22qDhu8eVKtG
>>217834214Holy shit I haven't seen that one yet. THANKS
>>217834130people used to say the odd number treks were the worst but i like all 6. it isnt until the next gen movies that i lose interest
(cowbell intensifies)
>>217834214>Television production then: Let's meet the set designers, the makeup artists, and the editors who bring your favorite shows to life!>Television production now: Shoot everything in a green void and then send the dailies to a rendering farm to add the VFX.
>>217834069>I will watch the first episode of Lower Decks if anybody here agrees to watch the first episode of 0079 swear to God.I'll watch every one of your gay combiner Voltron shows* but don't start with episode 1 of lower decks, start with Wej Duj which is season 2. *except eva and big o
>>217834214this is so fucking good. wish tv was still like this. top comfy
>>217834277Is Brian what's his face just a giant midget? Look at the face.
>>217833742Wasn't this some money-making scheme?
>>217834295
>>217834361What isn't?
>>217833775That is not true, but more importantly, a good series needs only few millions views.
>>217834411That's the most inaccurate Rumi I've ever seen.
>>217833843I dont think any of them had kids that we see on screen (other than kirks) except sulus daughter which is a great irony.
>>217833742Good allegory. Because honestly, our society do be like that too. Spending stupid amounts on retarded extravagant shit. Simultaneously, immiserated masses live in tents. Holds historically true too. Pharaoh built pyramids, their workers ate just enough bread to survive. Fodder for a Trek 'sode. The plot is the starship finds this planet. Their society is all fucked up by inequality and greed. The ship's captain gives a rousing Picard speech. Inspiring the planet to change their culture.
>>217834505Starfleet, Hirogen, Borg, Vulcan logic
Has any of you completed the Pon Farr ritual? Surely it was easy for you all to find a mate before your 30s
just finished my first TOS rewatchforgot how sharply the quality dropped in season 3 (excepting all our yesterdays)movies will commence shortly followed by glorious TNGfavorite episodes? worst episodes?
>>217834765And then the oligarchs of said planet declare the captain a woke Jewish cuck and nothing changes. You wanna know why utopian sci-fi is on the decline? Because we have been burned too many times. Even the Orville had the planet with social media canceling and couldn't change it, they could only change one mind. People forget the utopia of Trek required a world war and a genocide. Picard Speeches alone don't do shit. Look at that Greta Thunberg goblin. She said something simple like "pollute less" and look at the reaction to that.
>If Paramount wants a CW/Netflix/young audience, they should make series where the ship’s crew consists of aliens like Vulcans and Andorians, along with other good-looking peoples.>Cast young, attractive actors who will portray wise and intelligent aliens that look deceptively young.
>>217834874TOS is the best paced of all star trek (episode wise) . Even Next Gen struggled with this for a couple of seasons. I like the concepts, storytelling, character dynamics, costumes, sets etc. better than any other series. The best thing is that they would invite seasoned sci fi writers into the writing room which gave birth to great concepts and episodes.
>>217833950if you have to add cinnamon and ginger to your coffee, it's bad coffee
>>217834874I'm watching it right nowFor me S1 just blended together into some weird mass of episodes since they had like, I don't know, 5 rooms and one planet set total or something. Love S2. I miss hot bitches on TV. I'm dreading S3. I think I watched most of it drunk back in the day so I don't even remember how bad it got.
>>217834874Does saying Space Seed is one of my favorites a bit too cliché? Because watching it you realize why they brought Khan back for a movie.
>>217834977It's not coffee, it's qishr - a tisane made from the coffee cherry husk and is traditionally made with cinnamon clove and ginger Anyway. HAPPY PURIM enjoy your Haman Tashas.
>>217834874The one set on the mining colony with that weird gelatinous creature always sticks out in my mind. The show had great horror concepts in episodes about the otherness of space.
>>217835028Its a shame that episodes were so short because you could have had a 2 parter with montalban conspiring against the enterprise. I'd like to think that if Star Trek made it past 3 seasons they would have brought him back somehow.
>>217834898>Look at that Greta Thunberg goblin. She said something simple like "pollute less" and look at the reaction to that.because it's not the people who are polluting, it's the corpos. telling people to stop using gas stoves and gasoline powered automobiles, when coal power plants and factories churn out 100x more pollution than the average consumer, it's not only ridiculous, it's insulting
>>217835110someone will say something similar about the Picard Speech and different elements of society will do that Spiderman Mexican standoff pointing meme and nothing will change.
>>217835049I am tracing your IP address so I can find out where you live and take the Adobe suite away from you.
>>217835049>it's not coffee, it's coffee with extra steps
>>217834898nah. The revolution will come like the end of a Neil Breen film. With a press conference mea culpa. Where, the bourgeoisie queue up. And one-by-one confess and then suicide. But, here's my more fleshed out Trek plot. There is a planet with some special rare mineral. And the aliens on this planet need to be near it. They wear a rock of it on a necklace, are keep it in their pocket, whatever. They need to be near it or else they get sicker and sicker until they die. The Starfleet starship discovers this planet. They meet the aliens. They see the sickness that some have. Feel compassion, try to cure it. Find it's not a disease to be cured. Dig deeper. Most of the alien population have one, maybe two rocks. But, there are like a dozen aliens who have hoarded away billions of rocks. More than enough for every alien. The captain has a heated argument with this dozen. They all have reasons and excuses. The captain doesn't buy it. From orbit, he ship's phasers their big locked gates. Destroyed. He broadcasts to all the sick: 'this is where the rocks are, go get them'. He beams the dozen back down to the surface. They all get brained by their own horded rocks thrown by angry mobs.
>>217834874I just saw the doomsday machine, forgot how good the og series could be
>>217835230Baby boo you can just say you're not into carbs or sweets. I figured as much, you always seemed like a picrel
>>217835365The catatonic captain. Who was fully prepared to go down with his ship. Sacrifice himself to save his crew. And then watch as they all die and he survives. Such a great image.
>Let me tell you about a man... named Benjamin Sisko.
>>217835424lmao
>>217835439>I said SISKO! Not disco!
>>217835465meat and potatoes is legit, I had a tomahawk and a yamazaki 21 year fully ten years ago and I still remember it more clearly than the birth of my firstborn child
>>217835433his crew had already evacuated you retard, nd he doesn't survive he sacrafices himself to save the enterprise and all the other people that would have die if the doomsday machine kept on doing its thing, are you are nutrek writer? you seem as dumb as one
>>217835500wat? just exactly how mentally ill are you?
>>217835424Really? C'mon, I was at least expecting a Haman Karn Noonien Singh joke.
>>217835524to be fair the steak probably weighed more than the baby and no one gives you a scotch on the rocks when you're cutting the cord
>>217834874Watching the original series you see that everything basically flows from it. All future series episodes are variations on concepts founded during those 70 odd episodes. I dont think any other show has had quite a legacy.
>>217835531I shall commit the ritual hegh'bat as I have brought shame to myself and my great house of Qo'noS.
>>217835433That was always one of my favorite episodes of TOS. William Windom was great in that one.>>217835502Decker beamed his entire crew down to the third planet of the system they were in then had to watch helplessly as the Planet Killer ignored the Constellation and destroyed the planet with the crew he thought he had saved still on it. That's why he goes all Space Ahab.
>>217835500I asked my OBGYN to tie my tubes, she told me I would change my mind one day, and then I was left on hormonal birth control long enough to develop a blood clot in my subclavian vein that had a 40% of turning into a pulmonary embolism. Now I have seizures and I am not even 40 yet.Who is your favorite Trek doctor?
>>217835597so in short he tried to save his crew
>Tawny Newsome, who plays Professor Illa Dax what happened to ezri?
>>217835562They should have made rich fish boy an Orion given that his neck moles look like Orion's belt. And why is Orion wearing a skant like Jay-Den the Zesty?
>>217835630Tawny doesn't write fanfic for characters who aren't Mary Sue self inserts I'm sorry.
there is something kinda based in making a literal Mary Sue self insert character to be in a "Star Trek" show
>>217835613Should have pushed for a copper IUD. Phlox would have done it. They need copper heavy soils.
>>217835627Yes, he tried to save his crew and it ended up getting them killed.
>>217835670Yeah, and it is based in being a self-obsessed retard with zero self awareness who is never told no because you are a hecking special chungus proud black woman hear me roar.
>>217835652Bit too small of a sample size to say that. She only has two writing credits on IMDB. That 'sode. And a short film from 2013. Wait until she's written a couple more things before you label her with such a sweeping statement.
>>217835652Wesley is a self insert for Eugene Wesley Roddenberry. I'm not saying self inserts are a good idea. They are hacky and dumb. But they are Trek.
>>217835721no it's based on Trek fanfic being the thing that invented "Mary Sue" in the first place
>>217835502Moron
>>217833755I was just thinking earlier how fucking bonkers it would have been if Lynch had directed an episode of Star Trek. Thinking TNG episode "Night Terrors" but there are a lot of great candidates.
>>217835727>>217835742>>217835750Oh, my bad. Her being an unfinny egotistical talentless hack nerd gurl XD is just industry standard then.
>>217835776your fixation on her seems kinda personal
>>217835747
>>217835797It is, and I explained it in the previous thread.
>the operafag is the one crying because /trek/ makes fun of NuTrek which he likeslollmao evenAnd you expect us not to release your work to plebbit? You belong on plebbit. Just go post it and return to your people you disgusting faggot
>>217835818you really have trouble telling posters apart
>>217835836maybe he needs more coffee. An entire pots worth
