The decline of the vaxxers will be substantially noticeable in early February. I'm talking cars parked sideways in the middle of the street with the driver looking up at the sky, lost and confused. I'm talking people in grocery stores screaming because they don't know where they are or what they were doing. I'm talking about a real fucking zombie apocalypse. Get ready because this is going to be some fucked up shit you won't be able to comprehend. Family members shooting each other because they didn't know who they were and what they were doing in their house, your own mother won't even recognize you. We have about 2 weeks left until hell on earth. Good luck to you all.

These fags are overrated besides this. There should be more Princess Bride-core movies. That one also has the mantle of "best movie about (spiritual) boomers ordering crazy shit from catalogues", there could be an entire genre of films about people ordering wild nonsense from Sears Roebuck etc like this throughout the 20th century and of course there could be modern versions now with online shopping even if the old type has more sovl. You can drive across all of America and see the most insane shit in peoples' yards or as part of their homes, all relics of the 20th century, and it would just be cool to see the process of people buying this stuff, using it, and what happens to it good or bad over decades.

>Of all the conspiracy theories in the vast /pol/ arsenal nothing was more retarded than the Covid vaccine theory, more commonly known as the mass die off. It's the board’s most popular conspiracy, a theory all /pol/acks love. An elegantly simple low IQ amalgamation of Facebook screenshots and revenge fantasy porn. It can’t be debunked, argued with, or expire. The goalpost will be moved whether the timeline comes to fruition or not. It's so retarded even a child could believe it, and they do. The Boomers put the theory on their Facebook page. /pol/ put it on their thread. Since the end of the Pandemic, the Mass die off theory has become /pol/‘s greatest export. After that comes mass shooters, neonazis, and paganism. One thing is for sure, no one was lining up to date their men.

>The film was originally released on March 4, 1983 in only three movie theaters, in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. This was possibly due in part to poor test screenings, which had caused Universal executives to lose faith in the film, but also because Universal Pictures had released the far more expensive and anticipated Scarface (1983) the same year, and was spending most of its advertising budget to promote that film instead. Willie Nelson was nonetheless one of several country performers who were impressed by the authenticity of Robert Duvall's performance, and offered to help promote it. However, studio executives told Duvall that they did not understand how someone like Nelson could help publicize it. Duvall later reflected that this was indicative of the studio's lack of understanding about both the genre and the film.

Making a game out of The Godfather is fundamentally misguided, the game is just inherently silly. The core gameplay of it was pretty good, good shooting and melee combat, but 90% of the game is just filler with copy-pasted side content. It's akin to making the gang territory section of San Andreas take up the bulk of the game.

Do not recommend.

>>218019465
>contrarian
>baiting
Always the brainlet's easy way out whenever someone has an opinion that challenges the status quo, rather than actually engaging with it.
Is Sofia's acting -- which is not even that bad, you're just parroting something that has been repeated over and over on the internet -- your only complaint about the movie?
Here's some more "contrarianism" since you seem to handle that well: the confession scene in part III/Coda is top 3 scenes in the entire trilogy.

I disagree. It's a classic, don't get me wrong, and I find myself thinking about it and even quoting it in real life a lot, but so many take it for granted as the single greatest film ever made, even if they haven't seen it. It's not in my own personal top ten, so it's overrated from my perspective by definition, and unless it's in your own personal top 10 favorite films ever made, you also find it overrated. Overrated does not mean bad or even mid.

They're just gonna forever be stuck with that Edward/Potter vibe they'll never be able to escape.
You know that Reggie Dinkins show looks good, the pilot was a lot of fun, Mickey 17 was a good modern sci-fi action movie. They both still do good shows, the problem is they had anchor character roles in important Millennial movies and Robert Pattinson no matter how good he is as an actor will always look like Edward.

You can't really assess a good actor until they're at least in their 40s, anyone can be a flavor of the month for a month, but it's those special few that prove to just exist in every decade, playing a few big roles, a few smaller roles. You don't even realize they have been that guy the whole time until they're at least 45.
Duvall was 30 when he played Boo Radley and that was a minor role, 41 when he first played Tom Hagan and the role before that was THX 1138, an iconic movie by an iconic director, but it's not like George Lucas was George Lucas at that point.
There are plenty of guys who have just been doing it for years and nobody realized for decades. Cillian Murphy has had a great career. You think Scarlett Johansen got her top grossing actress of all time title just doing a couple good Marvel movies?
She's basically been out there since Lost in Translation, basically gracefully going from Blonde Bombshell into solid working actress.
There are plenty of kids in their 20s-30s who we're not even gonna realize are gonna be that guy or that girl who works until they're 90 and is remembered for so many things you can't say just one.

Better? That's a weird way to describe. Brando played him in a very unique way that became iconic. DDL would've put his own spin on it. On a technical level, it would probably be better in that it would feel more like a real person and less like a character. But it's impossible to say if it would've been anywhere near as iconic.

tbf basically the character he's developed is a great autist sperg. I mean in Nathan for You all those subplots ranging from making frins to lovequests. I mean the Rehearsal is essentially autist purely in theory "I'm terrible at social situations, so I'm gonna use my autistic knowledge of television production to create elaborate scenes to practice social situations before doing them" going all the way to "learning to fly a jet aircraft to go to congress to discuss mental health in commercial aviation"

Duvall didn't play Tom Hagan until he was 41. Stop with this fiction that actors need some magic trauma experience to dig deep, it's literally just playing a role.
Duvall was a working actor, there is no exact thing he ever played. He was everything from Boo Radley to Frank Hackett to Tom Hagen. He was in Westerns as bad guys and war movies as crazy guys. There was no specific place he dug from. Traumafags are a meme, just bitter at Drew Barrymore for getting to do blow as a 12 year old and now just waltz around doing ads for cruise ships on an aloof whim.

>Allan Hubbard (Sonny) had his tenth birthday shortly after the film wrapped, and was preparing to celebrate it with his family at his home in Paris, Texas. He was pleasantly surprised when Robert Duvall showed up at his house and gifted him with a guitar for the occasion. Hubbard, who went on to teach guitar professionally, still owns the guitar to this day.

Duvall was about 20 years too old to be playing Lee by the time Gods and Generals was made. Lee was in his mid-50s, Duvall was already over 70 and you can tell because he physically doesn't do as much as Sheen in Gettysburg.

Also Sheen by all accounts was far more enthusiastic about the role, he personally camped out with all the Confederate reenactors on the field rather than staying in a hotel like all the others.

Fuck that post-80s realism in movies and tv. There was a lot more fun when cinema existed in a crazy universe and that's why MCU movies do so well.
People just want Sonny getting shot a zillion times on a Lower Manhattan street, people don't need an organized depiction of how the guy who orchestrated a jet heist ended up a coke-stressed fugitive turned informant.
Both are great, no offense to Scorsese. But There's more aura in Duvall bombing the river so his boy can surf the wave than there is in realism.

Lack of life experience + nepotism. Half the big names from the 50s-70s were WWII vets, and the rest usually had something else going on before they were actors. Charles bronson worked in a coal mine as a teenager in the 30s. Michael Caine was a Korean War vet. Harrison Ford was a carpenter. They all had interesting stories and experiences, whereas most of Hollywood these days is "Was the son of famed actor/entrepreneur/producer Ernst Mickleberg acted in Disney hit series High School Days, and received their theatrical acting debut as the leading role in a $100 million studio production."

It’s going to be a photo finish between Takei and Shatner. One the one hand Takei is wheelchair bound and clearly in worse health than Shatner. On the other hand Shatner is several years older than Takei and could just randomly kick off out of nowhere for no reason other than being very old. Also, Takei has Japanese genetics which could give him a longevity boost. Those fuckers live to 115+ all the time.
