Reminder Catholicism isn't Christian at all, it's demonic. You deviants worship this sex pest as a "Saint" after all.
>>
>>218077265
It's the true form of Christianity. Who is the man in the picture?

Saint Bernard, which you'd already know if you were actually Catholic and not just LARPing on 4chan for (you)s

You say this, but how much of Catholicism is original, based on the original cult from the 1st century?
Our depictions of angels? They come from Greco-Roman Nike and Anemoi.
The blue veiled Virgin Mary holding her child? That comes from the Hellenised worship of the Egyptian Goddess Isis and her carrying ofthe baby Jesus comes from depictions of Isis carrying Horus.
Christmas day was originally a day used to celebrate Sol Invictus, which allowed monotheism to become common and acceptable in Roman daily life. Sol Invictus was even worshipped by Constantine even after his conversion to Christianity. A statue of him was built in Constantinople.
Easter comes from Ēostre.
The Pope uses the same title as Roman Emperors, Pontifex Maximus.
>>
>>218077315
I'm not a fucking scholar. Also, if you actually read the article you would know that "The story and its subsequent depiction was not strange for medieval Christians, as breastfeeding was a common fact of life and traditionally associated with a person being fed both physically and spiritually. Having the Virgin Mary expose her breasts to feed Christian faithful was not scandalous in any way and was meant to signify a deeper spiritual reality."

It's perverted despite what Catholic cope you'll read in the article.

Making a guy Saint for his wet dream that involved drinking the tit milk of your "Queen of Heaven" is perverse and disgusting no matter how you Catholics try to cope with it now.

>Be pope worshipper
*Yawn* that same old argument. Anyone with half a brain knows Catholics don't worship the pope, and it's ignorant to say we do.
>Breed like rats to out number Protestants
Not sure where you're getting that from. Just because we actually support life unlike our evil politicians.
>Let Islam in because fuck the UK
Last time I checked that was the anti-Catholic labour government.
>Have to rely on protestant support to survive
Again, not sure where you're getting that from. Please explain.

How about actually providing some proper arguments instead of spouting nonsense.

I think it is safe to say that there is no singular truth to the spiritual questions science cannot and likely never will not answer, right?
You figure out quickly that all world religions are usually based off the spiritual traditions of earlier ones, Christianity is no exception. The flood story for example goes back all the way to the Epic of Gilgamesh which obviously was not a Hebrew religious tale. I think all spiritualities attempt to answer the same questions and that they are more connected than people think. The problem with Christianity is that once they attained power they did not share the belief the Romans did that all ancient faiths are to be respected and perhaps even interwoven. There was a big statue to the winged goddess Victory in the Roman senate and it was removed for the last time in the 382 AD and a pagan senator begged that it should stay because "there cannot be one truth to the mysteries of the universe". Our religious arguing has gone from trying to figure out why the universe was made to arguing about which default religion is "truest". It's very sad.

The Church has never even defined this as a dogmatic event. It belongs to pious tradition and devotional imagery, and it must be interpreted symbolically and spiritually.

It's quite simple anon. You bred like rats, especially in shit whole areas, gradually making them worse. A good 50% of your offspring are thick as shit because the parents couldn't or wouldn't raise them properly. I know of "good catholics" that are just tribalist morons, know nothing of the bible or just plain decency. I've had catholic managers that gave me and other protestants shit jobs on a daily basis while they ignore their catholic buddies doing nothing, despite doing nothing to the prick. That manager got away with it because the GM was a raging bigot as well. They had picked one protestant to teat well so if we complain they point at that retard
>But how can I be bigoted when that person has a supervisor role
Point being, after all this snide crap, you'll have the cheek to expect us to help you, when it was catholic politicians that made the argument for them being here in the first place. The SNP and Labour have been compromised by Muslims you utter fucking moron. Maybe if you're skull hadn't been fucked so aggressively by that priest you'd be able to figure this out yourself. Now a question for you, if you're famine is over, why it you go home?

There's a difference between actual religion and the cultural divides in the UK and Ireland, which is defined by politics and stereotypes, not an actual desire to worship Christ.

Oh, and I forgot the school system. You entitled clowns demanded your own school system, only for you to send your kids and teachers to non-dom schools. That's where it gets pretty sinister. You've got catholic teachers in nondon schools deliberately failing protestant kids just because they can. I once failed a test for reiterating the answers I was givin. That retard failed me because she was too lazy, stupid or bigoted to read more than the first few words of an answer. Same bitch failed my sister and her pals, when they banded together, complained and had another teacher mark that class, it turned out my sister and friends had passed and the one person that had been told they had a pass (a catholic wouldn't you know) had actually got like 10%.I had a family member that was qualified to get on their course but was told at the interview "people from your school don't usually get in but I'll put in a good word for you". They had the same qualifications as their catholic counterparts. Catholics from that school we're not told the same thing. You are not a good person. You are tribalist scum and deserve everything bad coming your way.

Then there's the benefit side. I got sanctioned once and had to go to a good bank. One ran in a chapel. When I went in the guy asks me if I consider myself Scottish or British, which incase you're too inbred to understand, is a subtle way of asking someone if you're Catholic or protestant. Why would he ask that anon? And I'll repeat the other question, your famine ended years ago, why haven't you went back?
>>
>>218077896
You think it doesn't work the other way around as well? You think you proddies haven't behaved atrociously towards us?
As I said, these issues are cultural and political and don't reflect the ordinary Catholic, or protestant for that matter.
>your famine ended years ago, why haven't you went back?
I'm quite happy where I am thank you.
>>
>>218077953
And there we have it anons. The good Christians that allegedly forgive people holding a generational grudge, and picking on children because they aren't big enough to go after their actual abusers. Utter scum. I will repeat my question for a third time. You're famine is over, why don't you go home?
>>
>>218077896
>Scottish or British
Aren't scots presbyterian?
>>
>>218078028
You're the one accusing me of having a generational grudge? You're the one who's been rambling on about managers and all sorts of other shite all this time. I didn't start this.
>You're famine is over, why don't you go home?
And I'll say it again, I'm quite happy whee I am thank you.
>>
>>218077371
Wow, literally nothing you said in your post is true. A simple Google search for any of those will show you the truth.
>>
>>218078097
I done nothing to them and they attacked me. You try to dismiss their behaviour by bring up how the generation before me mistreated yours. I'd call that a generational grudge.
>>
>>218078257
Clearly you're holding a generational grudge if you still hold prejudice towards an entire group of people over something that happened years ago.

The food bank thing was fairly recent actually, from what I've gathered that guys still doing that. Those teachers done that to every year they had till they retired. I tend to judge people on an individual basis. You following a how to guide from thousands of years ago. You defend pieces of shit just because they suffer from the same delusional thinking you do. I have plenty of catholic friends, I consider them friends because I've seen them actively fight against the a stuff you try to defend or justify. Given your pro life comment I take it your one of those types that think your imaginary friend not liking abortion you have the right to tell another human what to do with their own body, narcissism and entitlement off the fucking charts.

I don't know whether all this stuff you're claiming is true or not, but what I do know is Catholics and protestants have been going at each other for decades. The cultural and political divides in Scotland doesn't reflect what the average Catholic or protestant is like, but of course you're too ignorant to understand that.

Again, wrong. One reason I like travelling is that I don't see this shite outside of Scotland. The irony of a religious person calling anyone ignorant is another perfect example of why this conversation isn't worth having. Enjoy claiming to be in the right when you're aligned with a child abusing cult.
>>
>>218078931
>One reason I like travelling is that I don't see this shite outside of Scotland
That's what I mean? You don't see it outside of Scotland because it's in Scotland these petty squabbles happen, and as I said, it doesn't reflect the ordinary Catholic or protestant.

I see you ignored my image. probably because yo don't have an answer to it because you know I'm in the right.

The protagonist tries to apply utilitarian ethics, doing the evil action of euthanasia on his son and the other survivors to try to bring about a greater good(spare them pain). It's revealed to be a horrible error and punishment for the sin comes quickly.

Near the beginning of the movie Melissa McBride's character runs off into the fog to find her children and we initially think it was stupid and impulsive and she must be dead. But she was applying natural law, following the built-in morals God has endowed us with(in this case, manifesting as her instinct to protect her family). And sure enough they're seen safe in an army truck at the end of the movie. But even if she had died, going out trying to rescue her children would be a more meaningful death than anyone holed up in the supermarket got.

Finally, there's the crazy Evangelical lady shouting about the Book of Revelation. Her faith is just a reflection of her latent mental illness and her preaching chaos complete chaos among the survivors. She's going against scripture by taking leadership over men and by predicting the apocalypse("only the Father knows the knows the hour").

It started in Ireland you cretin.
>because you know I'm in the right.
There is absolutely nothing correct about telling a rape victim, or somebody that's going to give birth to a child with severe health issues, that they have to give birth other wise you and your gang of turbo Karen's will same them and talk shit about them to your imaginary friend. Eat shit and die sir.

And how many of abortions that actually take place are for those reasons?
What about the countless abortions that take place because parents can't be arsed taking responsibility?
