>In America, you can be forced out of a business you own and built
>>

Well he wasnt the sole owner, there was the board
>>
>create a company
>want more money
>sell off parts of the company
>those people hire board members to represent their interests
>a genius would maintain a strong enough majority (51%) so he could never be gainsayed
>instead, sell your company off enough that if the board bands together they can fire you
>be shocked when it happens
>>
>>218159002
He was Out.
>>
>>218159002
Isn't that the case everywhere?
>>
>>218159002
Only if you make an IPO, which is basically saying you don't want to own the company anymore.
Don't do it if you care about the company!

The Board was making a move. He had to get it on.

OUT
AM IIIIIIIII?
>>
>>218159002
There are consequences... for my actions?
>>
The real question is why would Quest Aerospace want him out when he was clearly a valuable asset.
>>
>>218159305
Plot needed to happen
>>
That is the danger of going public. If you don't want that possibility don't do it. It's actually really hard for that to happen even then, you usually have most of the board in your pocket and they're too scared to ditch the founder who keeps them paid.
>>
Just don't sell off parts of your own company in the promise of infinite profit?
>>
Are these the words of the great governments, syndicates, boards of the Earth?

This was my first redpill. You can put your heart and soul into a business but no matter what you do, some wrinkled old fart is going to take it away from you, the moment you slip up.

This is why I'm a NEET.
>>
>>218159444
you can also slip, fall and die in your own shower.
better not take any showers anymore for the rest of your life.
>>
>>218159444

It basically never happens to successful companies. No matter how crazy Elon has been they've been too paralyzed to force him out.
>>
>>218159444
Checked, but Norman didn't slip up. The point is nobody liked him except for the honest people he lied to, because he was a shitstain sociopath of a businessman and husband.
>>
>>218159002
>go public for extra money

And in Europe, we just sell all our companies to America
>>
>>218159002
In non-America you cannot be forced out of companies, because they don't have any. Usually the unwashed hordes just wait for UN airdrop once a month.
>>
>>218159588
Who sells them to India in turn
>>
>>218159305
Same with when Sculley pushed Jobs out of Apple
>>
>>218159485
Elon is a useful idiot. Norman was too clever for the board.
>>
>>218159002
>you can be forced out of a business you own and built
he sold shares
>>
>>218159065
Underrated and notice the lack of replies. The average /tv/ autist is unable to comprehend this post entirely.
>>
>>218159031
This if you never sold majority share of the company they cant push you out
>>
>>218159065
You are right.

>>218159588
Oh fuck off, America is selling of their companies to Saudis like EA gaymes and WB is being bought with Saudi Money

There are laws that come when you incorporate and sell stocks. Stocks are ownership in that company, so in order to secure the rights of owners, an incorporated company must have a board of directors that's full of shareholders representing all the shareholders-at-large.

And yeah they can and do totally vote to throw out the people who create and build up companies. Ask Papa John of Papa John's pizza, who infamously got thrown out of his own company because he refused to go along with going in a woke/DEI direction for the company. The last Disney at Disney got thrown out for the same reason.
>>
>sell company
>people buy it
>:o
>>
>>218159791
Movies taught them everything they know
>>
Well i think they found out about his weaponized nerve gas
>>
>>218159065
Maybe it was Norman's 4D chess to bring in all of those shareholders then kick them out.

>>

A daring synthesis. Well done.
>>
>>218159305
the line probably went down slightly after an investment in Super Soldier Gas, and that's a big no-no.
shareholders can NEVER lose money, even for the purpose of making more money later.
>>
>>218159002
Don't sell out the majority of your company to shareholders then, retard. This actually happens IRL except Norman was apparently too retarded to set up a retirement plan in all his years owning the company.
>>
>>218159002
In Europe, you can be forced out of the country you were born in, and your ancestors built for you and your descendants.
>>
>>218159031
>>218159065
Yeah, these.
>>
>>218159002
I think that also happens all the time in Asia.
>>
>>218164148
And in America you just get replaced by the people you kicked out of their land :)
>>
>>218164147
>Norman was apparently too retarded to set up a retirement plan in all his years owning the company.
Idk, he probably had one and was going to be fine- I think it was less about the money and more about the ego bruising from having his company taken away from him
>>
>>218159002
If anything this should show you that if you actually have an existential/moral stake and care about the company, rather than see it as a money making operation, then you should never take it public and just stay the private owner until you die

daily reminder the board can host an emergency meeting to remove you as primary owner after Delaware ruled that you have a legal responsibility to make a business profitable to the shareholders. The majority of businesses in USA have a headquarters in the state of Delaware. Making the business across any state or country subject to the same ruling.

People shit on business owners, but forget that even if the owner wanted to make his business more ethical, pay his workers more, etc. He legally wouldn't be able to because of this. So you don't even get to judge them.
Dupont's literally own USA and Rothschild's are useful idiots to them.

It would take way more than just a majority share. You need to own almost all the shares to shut something like that down.
The moment you go public, it's no longer YOUR company even if you have largest shares.

Happened to the company I worked for. Went public years ago. The founders son was the CEO and he was forced out by the board because he wasn't dancing to their tune. New CEO is a fucking Pajeet.
>start and build a company from scratch
>pass it on to your children
>they lose it to some shitskin because some predatory company came in, bought a huge chunk of shares, and shook shit up to make a quick buck

LOL
>>
>>218164309
>after Delaware ruled that you have a legal responsibility to make a business profitable to the shareholders.
Not in the wake of DEI policymaking. Social justice and cultural politicking are just as important as the fiduciary responsibilities of the leadership.

Our private prisons need bodies. We're sure as fuck not incarcerating Whites.
>>
>>218159002
Only if you accept the poison chalice or easy stock market money
Stay private and this cant happen.
>>
>>218164388
Bullshit, they use DEI to make them more profit.
Why do you think they bullied the government to give them tax relief if they hired a certain amount of jeets, blacks, mexicans?
Because hiring those people was never actually profitable unless the tax relief made it profitable.
>>
>>218164667
Half of the prison population is White you stupid retard. Actual whites not just spics who ticked a box.
>>
