Why didn't he just tie the nets together? Or just stick them to the train
>>
>CONDUCTOR WE HAVE A PROBLEM
>>
>>218176755
what makes you think he has enough time to do that while while standing infront of a train going 80 miles per hour?
>>
>>218176894
It took like a full five seconds for webs to stick to the buildings and then stretch fully.
>>
>>218176755
which knot would you tie if you had to rely on one to save the lives of 50 people?
>>
>>218176755
why didnt he just activate the emergency stop

why didn’t he just become comic book accurate?
>>
>>218176755
I just asked the real spiderman why he did that and he said he cant remember
>>
>>218177004
he's taken over 20,000 shots to the head in his career
>>
>>218176974
Just make two regular knots. I mean the web is very sticky so it would not slide out
>>
>>218177031
it stretches too much horizontally for a "regular" square knot to work. If you said bowline/sheet bend maybe
>>
>>218176974
It doesn't have to be a single knot for all.
>shot left, shoot right, knot
>repeat as much as you can
He could probably even shoot both at once and tie it in a split second.
>>
He had dirt in his eye
>>
>>218176992
What would comic book spiderman do?
>>
>>218176894
Perhaps he should have spent less time quipping with the passengers.
>>
>>218177084
investigate after everyone is dead
>>
>>218177084
spurt out a massive sheet of web in a matter of seconds that binds to nearby buildings and catches the full weight of the train before it hits the ground. he does this using homemade web creation devices worn on each wrist.
>>
>>218176755
Feel like there's a not 0% chance for
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TGrUnUOHVc
If he tied them together. And a better than fair chance they'd just rip off the windows, panels or bars of anything he stuck them to.

>*swings away*
>>
>>218176755
It's not just holding the webs together, it's making sure they're held evenly. If one side suddenly pulls more than the other the train derails and comes off the L, crashes into the street below killing not just the train passengers but whomever it collides with.

There's definitely some symbolism going on here, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Yeah, I can't tell what exactly it means either. The director could try to make it a bit easier.
>>
>>218176755
Off-screen, Dock Ock was constantly spraying anti-knot cream on the webs as Spidey was shooting them.
>>
>>218180711
its a cool hand luke reference
>>
>>218179844
Nah, if the pul was imbalanced the web would just slip a bit towards the side that pulled harder or elasticity would handle it.
>>
>>218180711
It's supposed to mimic the scene from the Bible where Jesus saves a train full of people with his spider webs.
>>
>>218176755
>>218180711
realistically his face would've been all over the news and he would be identified within days even at that time (sketches are a thing zoom zooms)
>>
>>218180892
why didnt jesus save anybody in the train in highlander 2? my boy ironsides literally put that shit into light speed and old people and babies were flying all over the place
>>
>>218180902
I mean even if everyone in the train decided to be cool about it, I imagine there were a lot of cameras (inside and outside) that could pick him out.

Is that Hancock?
>>
>>218180902
more like within hours, jonah would've been the first to scoop up the photos or descriptions and he would've immediately recognised peter
>>
>>218180902
>OH SHIIIIIT I KNOW WHO THAT IS!!!
>Who? I dont recognize him.
>Oh come on! He is... He is ummm, ya know who he is!
>No, I really dont... Cant say I have ever seen his face before
>Dont be a jackass, he is that one guy!
>What "one" guy? I have been living in this city for all my life, millions of people, I haven't, you haven't, no has seen this guy before.
>Oh whatever... Im telling ya ive seen him, somewhere before...
>No you havent, shut up.
>>
>>218180902
>pixelated image of generic white guy who wears glasses in private
literally impossible to identify
>>
>arms outstretched, evoking Christ on the cross
>carried through the train like a martyr
>"he's.. just a kid."
Name a more kino sequence in capeshit.
>>
>>218180956
What incentive was there keeping his identity secret?

He just saved all their lives.

But also pic related probably is offering 20$ so at least one of them should have give a sketch or something
>>
I always thought it would have been peak for the mid who gives him the mask back to be the same one that was helping Aunt May pack up.

Why didn't Green Lantern help?

I was just thinking about that. Thanks for the post.
