The central issue is caused by these boring characters stubbornness and it all gets resolved in a boring way. Not much really happens in it.They're obviously going to pad it out with other stuff which is why they added the detail of Egg running away (in the books. Maekor gave him permission to go with dunk). So I guess we'll have a useless subplot about the Targaryens looking for them.
