He refuses to put actual justice in his movies, just insidious cruelty and nonsensical power scenes. His snuff boner is bigger than his feet boner

I'm ambivalent. In general terms I like it and it's possibly QT's most stylish and aesthetic film, but I also think it was a departure from QT's early style, the writing suffered, and in general the film feels too beholden to its references. It's maybe the best QT in the 21st century but at the same time it started the decline.

I have no memory of this shit at all. I was pretty sure I’d remember Kill Bull as a modern masterpiece forever when it came out, but all i remember is Umas tracksuit, the pussywagon, and the snow falling in a japanese garden, all of which i think QT pinched from other films. The rest, completely forgettable, apparently.
