His new Vanity Fair interview (Feb 26) just dropped & he WENT OFF ON ICE:>"It's sick business. Stealing neighbors away from their homes, kidnapping kids. I must be careful how I speak about this. Because it's happening, right now, to friends & neighbors. I grew up in theatre - I KNOW theatre, on some level this is theatre. Dramatic actions in the dark. To.. inspire some response...for an audience. Some hate it, some love it. Again, it's just theatre. But I will say this - if ICE or the so called "Cheeto In Chief" try this kind of heinous shit around my loved ones, around my neighbors and beautiful friends that may not "fit the bill" for their kind of theatre, well I just may have to go Whale-mode on them. I might have to get Monkeybone involved, so to speak. He's usually pretty private, even post-comeback, but damn I didn't think he'd go off. What's your favorite performance of his?
Brendan's latest movie Rental Family was also very based. Not as memeable as The Whale. But still a great movie with great acting by him. Tackles a very interesting subject.
