This will be never be topped in terms of fuckups.
Seriously you have a well-respected veteran director who has made a number of the best films ever made, you have a scene that could be filmed 1000 different ways, and yet he chose to do this.

The CGI glass shattering is what does it for me

Decrepit old fuck can barely stand and we're supposed to buy him as a tough guy in his early 40s. Give me a fucking break.

are these best films ever made in the room with us now?

yes

Who gave a better beatdown to a greaseball store owner, Frank or Richie?

Yeah it's true. The very first time you see the movie the music and the sound effects do somewhat distract from how horrible it is though. I didn't think anything of it the first time I saw it back in 2019.

I don't see anything wrong with this scene at all.
>>
Why can't deniro die already
>>
The shitty Marvel-quality cg wasn't Marty's fault, the movie was dumped to streaming he's lucky he was able to make it at all
>>
>>218196123
Have you seen that Ferrari movie? The one directed by Michael Mann?

Why didn't he just get a body double that can actually move around? Or do close ups/different angles. What a retarded decision

DoOoOoOoOoOoO this 35 year old is assaulting me

he's the one who chose to make old geezer DeNiro shoot the scene in person.
everything is fucking CGI these days, he could have used a young stand-in and then digitally paste DeNiro's face on his head

If they had waited just like 4 years to make this movie they could have used deepfake AI for the de aging stuff. It looked terrible.

A dual-timeframe structure does not mean we need de-aging nonsense. The Godfather II just recast Don Vito and no one cared. De Niro should be well aware of this because he was that actor.
>>
Someone needs to use that new chink AI to fix this scene.

Streaming services are where film goes to die.
