Why is the average Star Wars consumer like this?

Star Wars was always shit and I'm tired of pretending otherwise. Just watch Star Trek instead
>>

Only white media consoomers act like this, the IP is irrelevant

the first Star Wars was okay, diminishing returns since

> Just watch Star Trek instead
This but only the first 3 shows + ENT + TOS movies
>>
It's what happens when generations of the worthwhile are sent to die for the wars of rich men.

This man is spanking it to child porn. The Star Wars shit is a smokescreen.

This probably didn't happen. Never believe an actor.

Star wars is kinda cool when you're about 12. The troopers look cool, lightsabers are wicked. But that's about it. It has no further meaning, the force is made up. There's no deeper philosophical aspect to it than ying and yang.
Which is why redditors love it so much.

Lotr on the other hand, is cool for the battles when you're around that age. But then you rewatch them again at a later stage of your teen life, and you realise it is so much more than fighting bad guys with a sword.

I'm still dying to know the psychology behind this guy.

I do think its fine to be excited about movies like that, but I don't think he'd react so emotionally if it wasn't tied to the Star Wars IP. I think it is the overreaction to an IP that bothers people, like someone getting that excited for a new Jaws movie. It comes off as them being excited for it being strictly a new Jaws movie rather than it looking like a good movie, you know? And it doesn't help that the sequels really hammered in the 'remember ___?' especially in the first sequel movie.

Did David Hogg troon out?

Star Wars works as a good substitute for something like a religion so it attracts a lot of weak and childish people who filled their spiritual void with it as children and became stunted at that level, one way or another.

What's it like to have feelings?

The sensation of having good feelings doesn't outway the bad feelings.

A person is a man child whether or not they consume certain pieces of media as a kid. The man will grow out of those things regardless, the child will not. Alec was just being a pretentious cunt, like Harrison. I can see why though, as all of this series was based on Kurosawa films and Flash Gordon, the latter being trashy consumer slop (look at me shoot these goofy aliens type shit) so this was not something either one was proud of and they just hated their fans for being proud of it

They're both in the same vein, anon
