It’s piece of entertainment, not an attempt to accurately reality, and it was created, produced, and written by people who either are Jewish or work with tons of jews every day. So, of course, they anticipated that the majority of their audience, being white, would instinctively view the white-power/neo-nazi inmates as potential protectors for the white protagonists. They nipped this in the bud in the very pilot by having the gay black rapist character turn out to be harmless and the neo-nazi prisoners offering “protection” were immediately revealed to be the homosexual rapists he needed to worry about, and it doesn’t require one to have a PHD in statistics to realize how ridiculous that is. The thing that bugs me though is that they could have still portrayed the Nazi gang as predatory and abusive in a more accurate representation of prison. In federal prisons the majority of “mainline” prisons do have white gangs that extort and control the other white inmates. They don’t rape them though. The whole prison rape thing is such a meme though that I guess they couldn’t avoid it
