Which way, galaxy man?

I still like that Kylo didnt know what he was doing so his saber is all retarded and broken.
>>218203683They all look so slim. Do you have one with a bit more girth?
>Star Wars
>>218203751vader's saber. he copied the design that he used as anakin but made it thicker because of his big gloved goofy robot hands. you said>girthso now i have to post this at you
>>218203683Darksaber is edgy kino.
>>218203858>you said>girth>so now i have to post this at youDid you understand the other anon was making a faggot joke?
>>218203683
>>218203683That weird box on Luke's saber always bothered me. I know it's hastily scrambled together from spare parts, but it just doesn't seem ergonomic to hold.
>>218203683I like Kylo Ren's saber
>>218204016>>218203729The "bleeding Khyber crystals" thing is still retarded though. It should have just been that hes a big dumb dumb who didnt know what he was doing and made a shoddy product.
>>218203683kylo ren. the crossguard is the one single thing the sequels got right. does it make sense? absolutely not. but it is fucking cool, and that's what matters
>>218204588The Broomhandle is the sexiest handgun ever designed.
>>218204546I just like the handguard
>>218204728german engineering at its finest. shame about the cars
>>218203683You were supposed to figure this out back when they had custom saber making offerings.
>>218203943No he didn't.
Why is Dooku’s handle curved? What tactical advantage would that provide? Is he just trying to be a tacticool edgelord?
>>218204805I think the lore is he had some special, eclectic fencing style that took advantage of it.Couldnt tell in the movies. He just spun the thing like everyone else.
>>218204871Hes supposed.to be one of the finest duelists isnt he?
>>218203683When did they change the origin of the lightsaber colour?
>>218204805Meant to mirror the curved hilt on a fencing foil.
>>218204980Sounds right.>>218205015https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Curved-hilt_lightsaber> Its curved hilt design allowed the lightsaber duelist to slash and lunge at their opponent with greater precision. Count Dooku wielded a curved-hilt lightsaber during his time as a Jedi Master and as the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus. His choice of weapon was emulated by his Sith apprentice, Asajj Ventress, who possessed two curved-hilt lightsabers which doubled as a saberstaff when joined together. After the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire, former Padawan Ahsoka Tano fashioned a pair of curved-hilt sabers with a more rectangular profile.I can sort of see it in the Ahsoka ones in OP.
Still doesnt make any sense why a cured hilt would be more precise.According to nerds on the internet:https://www.reddit.com/r/lightsabers/comments/vi21f9/can_anyone_comment_on_the_felt_advantages_of_a/>maybe it's like a kukriWhich is curve to make the blade contact before the apex of swing and add power to the chop, so doesnt work.Although they mused it was so when you hold the handle "upright" the blade is still pointed more toward opponent. Maybe to give you advantage on first strike?https://www.quora.com/Why-do-some-Jedi-and-Sith-use-curved-hilt-Lightsabers>Makes for a more comfy grip alignment.Eh, sure, why not.https://www.kokushikai.com/ki/201409/a_Advantage_of_curved_hilt_swords_.html>On a slim single handed sword a curved handle offers leverage to the bottom two fingers and allows force to be added simply by tightening your grip a moment before impact, it also allows for a quick change in direction with a minimal movement. On a heftier two handed blade a curved handle creates a lever with a pivot point, so rather than actually swinging the sword a person can simply pull their bottom hand back and the sword will be able to generate motion and force. It allows for unpredictable attacks and unusual movements during attacks. Sure, it sounds good.
>>218203683Gungi and maybe the Dooku one are the only ones that seem like they would feel comfortable to hold. Not rectangular. No bits and bobs poking into your hand.
What the fuck is Gungi?
>>218204805I heard it was because Christopher Lee was in his 80s during filming and it was easier for him to handle a curved prop.
>>218204546He knew what he was doing. You think the grandson of Anakin and student of Luke wouldn't be able to make a lightsaber correctly? He added the vents not because he's a retard, but because he's basically overclocking his already unstable crystal>>218204805Because he used a specific style of lightsaber form that's more similar to fencing. And also because the concept artist who came up with the design is from the Philippines and brought in a bunch of swords for inspiration and George liked the curved handle of the barong. It's also been stated that Christopher Lee strongly preferred it because it was more comfortable for him to hold during the choreography due to his arthritis. He was also a master swordsman so he probably gave a lot of input with it as well
>curved hilt>yellow bladeit's like the perfect lightsaber
>>218203683Half of Maul's broken saber.
>>218203683You can tell Lucas lightsabers from Disney ones in the same way you do with the aliens. It's mind blowing his fuckinh more creative and smart Lucas and his crew were in comparison to shitters from NuLF and Fagloni.
I like Kylo's stupid one
