Actually the film is about how the eugenics programs fails everyone, and just adds unnecessary steps of waste to human capital. People who are the most qualified never even come close to the right fields, as Jude Law's previous work was track and field sports. The characters in the film might say that, but nevertheless, it isn't true. The movie shows how even traditional risky resource intensive ventures which once took thousands of diverse individuals with different backgrounds have been ideologically compromised by gene zealotry and need to play to influencer-like PR stunts and imagery. These movies always fail because their propositions are no brainers. If you really lived in a universe where gene editing was perfect with no downsides then you'd be braindead and downright neglectful for ever having a "natural" birth.
